Brazilian ponies
Brazil produced their own line of ponies back in the old days. Even though they made ponies released from Hong Kong as well, they are easy to spot as soon as you learn about their characteristics.
Here's a list of things to look for;
- Squishy body
- thin eyeliner, though it still makes their eyes look heavy
- hoof markings (see picture)
- rough, brittle hair - often very frizzy and cut
- some are released in alternate poses

When I started collecting nirvanas, I quickly fell in love with the Brazilian ponies! Today, however, I don't focus on them anymore - I'm simply too picky about frizzy hair and they can be quite a pain to get without haircuts or frizz!
My first brazilian was Baby Lofty (together with Gusty and Parasol). She was my grail and the one (amongst others) I traded an Alt. Daisy for. She is not in perfect condition, but she is baby Lofty, lol! Mint condition brazils are hard to find. One day I might be able to upgrade her! Enjoy the pictures :)
