Columbian Applejack - my biggest grail
When I was a newb on the arena and the collecting field in general, I got to know one of the sweetest collectors, Babydoll. I've bought some of my favourite MOCs from her including Barnacle and Fizzy <3
One day, I noticed she had changed her avatar to a yellow pony in the shy pose - I had never seen her before. I asked her about it, because I really liked it and wanted it for my collection.
It was a yellow version of Applejack. She didn't know much about it; found it at a bootfair and had sold it to someone in the community. Nobody knew what country she was from.
Later, after Ember1 introduced us to all the Columbians, and Lars emerged, other AJs appeared and I finally found out what country she was from! But, as we all know, Columbians are expensive and hard to find - even if you have the money, they will be quite a bit of work to hunt down.

A dream coming true
Applejack has always been the pony I wanted to collect variants of; unintentionally I ended up with more Lemon Drop variations, but rest assure, AJ has always been my fav variant girl! Needless to say, yellow Applejack became my ultimate grail.
And now I have her. Actually there's two variants of the yellow AJ, one with multicoloured hair (like Babydolls), and one with a blonde haircolour. Ember1 sold me the blonde, and I love her so much it's hard to explain. I will always be on the lookout for the other variant, but getting one of these girls have been the biggest ponydream for me as long as I remember, so I don't say that I am "okay" by having the other variant - I am in awe. Completely in love, too.
Granted, her Columbian features took a little time to get used to - the cheap plastic, her colour which is a lot darker yellow than I imagined, almost like curry!... her dark and small-ish eyes (where the dark part is amazing, the small part is a little annoying at first - I've always imagined their eyes would be more of a match to the greek or spanish, lol, don't ask me why!), and her mane has been rehaired with original hair from the columbian factory - but as long as it's original, I don't mind one bit. And her flaws doesn't annoy me either - now they are part of her personality! <3
Below, you can see her with regular Applejack - it might give an idea of the thick, shiny, opaque rubbery plastic used.
