Mail Order ponies
Mail Order ponies were available through the 80's and early 90's. You could get horseshoe points when purchasing a pony in store (or a money order), send them and in return get special ponies that were only available this way.
Baby Gametime and Sugarcake were released in 1989 and advertised in a pamphlet called "It's a birthday party!" - the funny thing is the prototypes were in the baby boy mold like Lucky the Stallion! I assume that is why they are so scarce today, compared to the TAF babies in the same pamphlet, that are much easier to find.
Baby Gametime is pictured with an extra ribbon - I'm unsure if this or the one pictured with Sugarcake is the correct pink one.

Pretty Mane Ponies
Two ponies were released using the flutter mold without wings. They have amazing two-tone hair that goes perfectly with their symbols.
They each came with a star brush: Scribbles' is light yellow and Dabbles is light blue with a green tone.
Fun fact: Dabbles white stripes were meant to be green but they fade easily.
I am totally smitten with these two!

Baby Sister ponies: Li'l Cupcake & Li'l Sweetcake
I bought Li'l Sweetcake from Goldenclopper on the MLparena, and I love her so much! She's much cuter IR than I've ever imagined.
Baby Sweetcake is a peek-a-boo pony, meaning that her head can turn. her neck joint is like a ball ;) Li'l Cupcake is a newborn unicorn, pink w/blue hair (the opposite colours of Sweetcake!) and a cupcake as symbol.
My baby Cupcake has a lot of brown marks on her - I might upgrade her in the future, but the rest of her is absolutely mint, so I have not made up my mind yet.

Mail Order Spike
I have been wanting a Spike for my collection since I started buying ponies again - and I've been holding out for a Mail-order one, since I prefer the cartoon eyes. I finally got one in April, 2010!
He came with a flutter pony named Hollywood (deep pink pony with silver stars as symbol and white hair. I haven't found her just yet - right now I'm satisfied with having Spike :)
